Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical function, mobility, and pain levels using physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, trigger point therapy, and other modalities such as orthopedics or geriatrics-focused interventions. Deliver physiotherapy treatments across various settings including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and community care programs. Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community environments. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR systems) accurately for documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes and ensure adherence to best practices in acute care and outpatient therapy. Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, physiotherapy exercises, and self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification from an accredited program. Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, or in home & community care settings. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and treatment modalities such as trigger point therapy. Experience with inpatient hospital environments, outpatient clinics, home health services, or physiotherapy practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs. $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
