You will collaborate closely with our team as well as other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific goals and needs of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly. Manage a caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour and ensuring a high standard of personalized care. Utilize a variety of orthopedic treatment techniques to promote recovery, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities for pain management. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate diverse treatment methods, ensuring they align with each patient's recovery objectives. Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to treatment and promoting optimal functional outcomes. Document all patient care services provided meticulously, maintaining accurate records in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, specifically WebPT. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care and share insights on patient progress. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback. Engage in ongoing education and training to remain current with industry standards and best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with a diverse population of patients including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals post-surgery, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing their functional capabilities, improving their quality of life, and reducing dependency on medications and invasive procedures. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required. An unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and proven ability to design effective exercise protocols. Familiarity with EMR Software, particularly WebPT, and significant experience with documentation practices. Preferred Experience Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly in roles emphasizing patient motivation and educational support.
