We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist (PT Degree Required) or eligible candidate to join our dynamic healthcare team in Queensbury, NY. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, relieve pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.New York State Physical Therapist license in good standing or eligible to obtain licensure.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care with a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' medical history and perform a thorough physical assessment to develop a personalized treatment plan.Develop and implement effective and evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address patients' individual needs and goals.
Provide hands-on manual therapy, exercises, and other therapeutic modalities to improve patients functional abilities and promote recovery.
Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise and preventative measures.
Document patient progress, treatment plans and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research and trends to enhance clinical practiceAdhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patients rights and dignity.
