Position OverviewRestore Strength Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Smithtown, New York.

Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily onsite with our home care patients in and around Smithtown, New York.

You will engage with patients in their homes, utilizing a variety of treatment techniques suited to individual situations.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, tailoring individualized rehabilitation programs that address their specific impairments and goals.

Administer evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to enhance recovery.

Participate in the clinical education of physical therapy interns and students, sharing your expertise while contributing to their professional development.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and outcomes, adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to promote comprehensive patient care.

Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical practices within the organization, potentially initiating clinical research in areas of expertise.

Patient Population / Client FocusThe primary focus of this role involves working with a diverse patient population, including post-surgical orthopedic patients, individuals with chronic pain, and those recovering from sports injuries.

Each patient's unique condition requires a compassionate and customized approach to rehabilitation, emphasizing safety and effective recovery techniques that fit their lifestyle and specific needs.

QualificationsMaster's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Current and valid New York State Physical Therapy license.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective patient interactions and collaboration with team members.

Strong clinical assessment capabilities to ensure personalized and effective treatment plans.

Preferred ExperienceBoard certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.

Experience in home care settings is a plus, providing valuable skills to work effectively in patients' homes.

Proficient in using electronic health record systems and rehabilitation technologies to document and improve patient care.

Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
