Job Description

Role Description This is a part-time, with potential to transition to full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Utica, NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients with musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, updating documentation in accordance with professional standards, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-sport strategies. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is preferred. At least three years of clinical experience. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation management; experience with outpatient clinic or hospital EMR systems preferred. A strong background in fitness and athletics preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations. Ability to work part-time on-site in Utica, NY and manage a varied caseload responsibly and ethically.
Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour
