Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team, specializing in outpatient, inpatient, and community-based care. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiology and anatomy, with a passion for improving patient mobility and quality of life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home health environments, providing expert physiotherapy services to a broad patient population. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, utilizing knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop personalized care plans. Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and community care strategies. Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transition from hospital to home or community settings. Provide treatment in various environments such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and home health visits. Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans tailored to individual needs across acute care and long-term care settings. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and recovery strategies. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices by engaging in ongoing professional development. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Proven experience in discharge planning and managing care across inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. Strong background in acute care settings with familiarity in hospital workflows and procedures. Expertise in pediatric and geriatric populations with specialized approaches for each age group. Proficiency using EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Skilled in various physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining a compassionate approach. Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
