Physical Therapist- Physical Therapy Polaris 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Westerville, OH Full-time Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc 158 reviews Full-time Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Physical Therapist for our office that involves working with a diverse orthopedic population, including both chronic and acute conditions, post-operative recovery, and patients middle school age and up. Full Time/Benefits Eligible Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 7:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday/Thursday - 9:30am-6:30pm (some flexibility)
Westerville, OH Responsibilities:
Assess physical therapy patient condition by interpreting evaluations, test results and patient history. Determine course of action and treatment goals/plans in consultation with Physicians and team. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans to reevaluate throughout treatment plan. Test and measure patient's strength, motor function, sensory perception, functional capacity, balance, and general stability. Communicate with or instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities or treatment plans. Assist patient in completing tasks and using supportive devices. Keep patients well informed on progress and treatment plans including any updates. Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants. Participate and manage patient discharge and follow up appointments or training opportunities. Facilitate continuing care planning and support to patient.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy with a license to practice in the state of Ohio. Excellent communication skills and a willing team player. Ability to make judgements regarding patient care and clinic operations. Desire to work with patients' ages 14+ of a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. Outpatient experience preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.
