Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Advance your career as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic hospital setting where you'll make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys. This contract opportunity involves providing expert therapy services for both inpatient and outpatient populations, addressing a wide range of neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
Schedule:
5x8 Day shifts 36 guaranteed hours per week
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care therapy environment Proven ability to independently assess, treat, and manage patients with diverse neurological and orthopedic conditions Comfort and experience in wound care (preferred) Strong clinical reasoning with capacity to make logical decisions from consultations, lab results, and patient assessments Experience working with medical/rehabilitation patient populations Competency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records Ability to thrive under limited supervision and collaborate closely with medical staff
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for medical, neurological, and orthopedic patients Deliver high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings Assess patient progress, adjust therapy goals, and prepare thorough documentation using
EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes Potentially provide wound care as part of rehabilitation plans Serve as a patient advocate, encouraging active participation in recovery and maximizing function
