Join our team in Norman, OK — full-time, ASAP start.
Typical schedule:
8:00 AM-4:30 PM. What we're looking for A licensed Physical Therapist in the practicing state(s), or proof of eligibility to be licensed.
Education:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy; OR a Master's in a related field plus a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; OR a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with at least five years of PT experience. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation. What you'll do You'll be a key member of the rehab team, providing hands-on care and coordinating services to help patients meet their goals.
Core responsibilities include:
Screening, examining, and evaluating patients to establish diagnoses, impairments, and treatment goals; documenting all findings and plans. Developing and delivering individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises (aerobic, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility), functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, wound/integrity care, electrotherapeutic and mechanical modalities, and health and wellness education. Managing chronic disease strategies, fall risk assessment and intervention, and case management. Instructing patients in mobility skills, assessing progress, and performing routine reexaminations to update or advance care plans. Conducting home and community mobility assessments and providing safety recommendations. Collaborating with other disciplines and agencies to ensure comprehensive care and referring patients as needed. Working with rehabilitation team members to choose appropriate therapeutic regimens and adapting programs to meet each patient's physical and cognitive abilities. Supervising PT assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff in line with state licensure and professional standards. Maintaining timely clinical and billing documentation, adhering to department and patient schedules, and participating in patient care/staffing conferences and work-related meetings. Ordering, maintaining, and cleaning supplies and equipment; reporting repair needs. Promoting a safe environment by identifying and eliminating fire and safety hazards. Delivering high-quality, compassionate service to patients and families. Other duties as assigned by management.
