Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving students in an engaging educational environment near Oregon City, OR. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives, supporting them in reaching their highest potential. You'll work closely with educators, families, and students to provide vital physical therapy services tailored to individual needs—all within a welcoming school community.
Key Requirements:
  • Valid Physical Therapist license for the state
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Solid skills in evaluation, treatment, and documentation for school-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals
  • Organized, flexible, and effective communicator
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, addressing gross motor skills and mobility needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt interventions as needed
  • Maintain documentation according to legal and district standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support
  • Educate classroom staff and families on strategies to aid student engagement and success This position is part-time, requiring on-site presence two days each week, offering you flexibility and work-life balance.
