Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a Physical Therapist will directly support students' growth and success. This opportunity offers a flexible two-day-per-week schedule in a dynamic school environment, allowing you to make a meaningful difference while maintaining work-life balance. As a valued team member, you'll assess and treat students with diverse physical needs, collaborating closely with educators and families to develop tailored therapy plans. Your guidance will help students achieve optimal mobility and access to educational opportunities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience providing PT services in school settings highly preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for working with children and fostering inclusive educational experiences
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' physical abilities and needs Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional mobility in the school setting Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Advise staff and families on strategies to support students' physical goals Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Monitor student progress, modifying interventions as necessary
