Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to support K-12 students as a Physical Therapist during a maternity leave coverage. This full-time, onsite position spans from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026, making a meaningful impact across multiple schools in a dynamic, itinerant setting. Enjoy the ability to collaborate with diverse educational teams and help students achieve their physical potential in a hands-on, engaging environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active Physical Therapy license in Oregon Previous experience within a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Ability to thrive in a K-12, itinerant role across multiple school sites Strong communication, adaptability, and time management skills Must provide contact details for three most recent supervisor references for application review Willingness to work onsite, as virtual options are not available for this role
What You'll Do:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students, implementing individualized plans to foster mobility and participation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective delivery of services and student success Travel between school sites as needed, maintaining thorough documentation and communication for each caseload Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and attend IEP meetings as an integral member of student support teams Stay current with best practices, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines This contract assignment offers a unique chance to engage with a variety of student needs and educational settings.
