Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated Physical Therapist two days a week. This school-based position near Woodburn, OR, focuses on collaborating with students, families, and school staff to promote mobility, access, and physical development in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure for the state of Oregon Previous experience in a school setting or strong interest in working with school-aged children Solid understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and students Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a part-time, two-day weekly schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' needs to develop individualized intervention plans Deliver targeted physical therapy sessions that align with students' IEP goals Monitor and document student progress, adjusting techniques as needed Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive support Educate and coach teachers and staff in activities that promote student participation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute relevant clinical insights Maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements This contract position offers a flexible two-day-per-week commitment, allowing you to make a real difference while balancing your personal and professional goals.
