Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs across all grade levels, K-12 Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions that promote student mobility and access to learning Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure continuity of care and support classroom success Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required Provide recommendations and training for staff and families to facilitate student achievement and wellbeing
