Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the school community by supporting students as a contract physical therapist. This opportunity provides the chance to work closely with early childhood and school-age populations and contribute to their educational and physical development. Assignments will be split between an early intervention program (full-time, working with young children in classroom settings) and school-aged students with low incidence disabilities (4 days per week).
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Active physical therapy license in Pennsylvania Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working with diverse student needs, including early childhood and low incidence populations Ability to adapt treatment plans to classroom environments Organized and able to manage documentation efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students with IEPs Collaborate with special educators, classroom staff, and families to facilitate student participation and progress Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals Support students in both individual and group settings Maintain up-to-date records and communicate clearly with the educational team Travel between Aston and Broomall classroom locations as needed
