Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a Physical Therapist supporting a diverse K-12 population for the full school year. This part-time contract opportunity offers 3-4 days per week of meaningful engagement, where you'll help students achieve their fullest potential in both mobility and participation in daily school activities.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Pennsylvania Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students Familiarity with IEPs and therapeutic goal setting Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other therapists Adaptable and proactive approach to varied school caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with students' goals and IEP requirements Deliver direct therapy services, focusing on improving functional mobility, gross motor skills, and promoting inclusion in the school environment Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to provide training and guidance on strategies for supporting students during school routines Maintain clear, accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and recommendations Participate in IEP meetings to discuss progress and provide expertise on physical therapy interventions
