Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Physical Therapist serving educational programs in the greater Phoenixville, PA area. This contract opportunity provides the chance to support both Early Intervention and School Age populations, helping children reach important milestones and achieve their highest potential. Two rewarding openings are available depending on your interests and experience: A full-time Physical Therapist serving Early Intervention classrooms (5 days/week) within the Aston area. A school age Physical Therapist working 4 days/week with low-incidence students at the Marple Education Center. Ideal candidates are dedicated therapists with a passion for school-based practice. Your expertise will help students develop the motor skills needed for greater independence and classroom success. Your commitment can support both children and staff as they grow together in vibrant learning communities.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania Experience in school settings strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educational team members and families Strong documentation and communication skills Compassionate, flexible, and proactive approach to therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy to assigned students, tailored to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop goals in collaboration with teachers and support teams Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required Promote safe and inclusive movement experiences within varied classroom environments This position's consistent schedule (4-5 days a week) provides the stability and professional fulfillment many therapists seek.
