This contract position near Pittsburgh, PA offers a manageable commitment—just 4 hours per week, serving two students in a school setting. Here's what you'll contribute and gain in this role:
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Pennsylvania Experience working in a school environment or with pediatric clients is preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Ability to assess student needs and develop effective treatment plans Commitment to providing compassionate, student-focused care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services for two students, focusing on improving motor skills and functional mobility within the educational environment Conduct assessments and evaluations to support IEP goals and compliance with state requirements Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress notes, and required reports Work collaboratively with school teams to ensure continuity of care and adapt interventions as needed Offer recommendations and training for staff to support student success in the classroom
