Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services as a Physical Therapist. This short-term role, spanning from June 29 through July 30, is ideal for those eager to make an immediate impact on school-aged children. Your expertise will be highly valued as you travel between two nearby sites to provide engaging and effective PT interventions.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Serve students at two school locations in the Upper Merion and Lansdale areas.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Active Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania. Direct experience in a school setting or strong interest in working with children and youth. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families. Flexibility and organizational skills to efficiently manage sessions across two locations. Availability for the full ESY term (6/29-7/30) and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students as part of their ESY programs. Assess and document student progress, maintaining clear and thorough records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' functional and mobility goals. Adapt therapy plans to meet unique student needs and IEP requirements. Travel between assigned sites in the Upper Merion and Lansdale areas as scheduled.
