Job Description
Back to Motion Physical Therapy is a growing physical therapy practice in Richmond, VA, seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team. We provide one-on-one outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis on individualized care, exercise, and helping patients remain active and return to the activities they enjoy. About the Position The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients independently in a one-on-one setting. Our patient population consists primarily of active adults with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including golfers, tennis players, and other recreational athletes. Treatment is provided primarily on-site through our partnerships with Richmond-area country clubs, with the potential for some mobile/home-based visits. This position offers a high degree of flexibility and clinical autonomy. Physical therapists manage their own treatment sessions and schedule, and have the ability to use their clinical judgment to determine the most appropriate plan of care for each patient. All treatment sessions are one-on-one. There is no double-booking and no use of technicians or aides to provide patient care. Qualifications We are looking for a Physical Therapist who: Holds a current Virginia Physical Therapy license Is comfortable evaluating and treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Is able to work independently Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is dependable, personable, and professional Enjoys working with active adults and recreational athletes Preferred Experience The following are helpful but not required: Experience working with golfers, tennis players, or other active populations TPI certification or familiarity with TPI principles 2+ years of clinical experience
