Job Description

Category Schools - PT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services, located in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students within a school environment, combining in-person and remote interventions to enhance student mobility and function.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services totaling approximately 90 minutes per week, with flexibility to split sessions as needed Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress accurately Collaborate with educational staff to support student health and learning outcomes through tailored physical therapy interventions Participate in Conventional School Year (CSY), Extended School Year (ESY), and potentially Non-Standard Year (NSY) service schedules Ensure compliance with school policies and telehealth regulations when delivering services remotely
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Pennsylvania Experience providing physical therapy within school settings, including telehealth service delivery Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, educators, and families Ability to adapt treatment plans in response to missed sessions or changing student needs Familiarity with documentation requirements for school-based therapy services
