At Greenwood Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic and dedicated healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist at Greenwood Center, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, work closely with our interdisciplinary care team, and support other healthcare professionals in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with various medical conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with the input of patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulations Participate in care conferences and care plan updates Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered State of Rhode Island Physical Therapy license Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program Current CPR certification Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required) Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
