Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, supporting K-12 students for the 26/27 school year. This onsite position allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents, offering hands-on therapeutic services within a school-based setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist license is required Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-12 caseloads preferred Strong knowledge of therapy planning, documentation, and implementation for a diverse student population Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet student needs in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment strategies, and maintain accurate records for K-12 populations Work closely with educational teams to set student goals and track progress Offer guidance to school staff and families regarding therapy exercises, mobility devices, and in-classroom accommodations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team Ensure all documentation complies with state and district guidelines This is an excellent chance to provide vital therapy services while gaining experience in an engaging educational environment.
