  • Located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our clinical team.
In this essential role, you will evaluate, design, and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal function for a diverse patient demographic. Operating within our specialized outpatient facility, you will stand at the forefront of rehabilitative excellence, empowered by a clinical environment that truly sets us apart from other physical therapy practices. You will have the opportunity to utilize an extensive suite of advanced, cutting-edge modalities which includes our Omniwave shockwave therapy system, trigger point dry needling, LightForce deep tissue laser therapy, the Juvent micro-impact platform, and our comprehensive Safety Overhead System. We are looking for a driven professional who is committed to providing evidence-based care in a supportive, patient-centered setting, which is uniquely enhanced by the welcoming presence of our facility therapy dog, Ellie. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in empowering our local community to achieve their health and wellness goals with renewed confidence and independence. Duties Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics interventions Provide hands-on therapy sessions focusing on mobility improvement, pain management and injury prevention for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and acute care patients Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transition from hospital to home or community care settings Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing recovery outside clinical environments Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction Demonstrated experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a strong focus on patient care Hands-on experience with physiotherapy techniques
