Job Description
PRN Physical Therapist - Knoxville Area NHC Farragut and Surrounding NHC-Owned Skilled Nursing Facilities NHC Farragut is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team and provide flexible coverage throughout the Knoxville area. Position Overview The PRN Physical Therapist will provide coverage at NHC Farragut and other NHC-owned skilled nursing facilities in the Knoxville area as needed. This position is ideal for a PT who values flexibility and enjoys working with a collaborative rehabilitation team. Primary Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy services to residents in the skilled nursing setting. Provide coverage when regular therapy partners are on vacation, out sick, or otherwise unavailable . Conduct weekend physical therapy evaluations as needed. Complete evaluations, treatment, progress notes, and other required documentation in accordance with Medicare and facility requirements. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy staff, residents, and families to support positive patient outcomes. Maintain high standards of clinical care, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Telehealth services may also be requested as needed to support coverage and continuity of care. Qualifications Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. SNF/geriatric experience preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and medically necessary skilled therapy.
