Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations for assigned patients, utilizing clinical reasoning to create effective treatment plans aimed at safe discharge. Implement, modify, and document therapy interventions in line with patient needs, goals, and physician guidance. Provide education to patients, families, students, and colleagues. Serve as a mentor and positive role model for therapy students as assigned. Ensure care complies with physician orders, regulatory standards, and clinic procedures. Promote patient and staff safety, adhering to rigorous safety protocols involving safe handling, infectious disease mitigation, and hazard reporting. Uphold all professional and ethical codes relevant to your clinical practice. Engage in ongoing professional development tailored to organizational and personal growth objectives.
Experience and Skills:
Valid, good standing state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient rehabilitation setting strongly preferred. Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skills. Dedication to teamwork, quality care, and patient safety.
