Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding opportunity to provide physical therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, contract-based position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and is an onsite assignment supporting a diverse student population in the Fort Worth area. You'll play a vital role in helping students across grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, by evaluating and implementing individualized therapy plans that foster growth, mobility, and participation in educational activities.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (ECPTOTE certification required) Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 populations, is highly desirable Strong understanding of the educational model and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Flexible, organized, and able to adapt to shifting caseload needs (serving approximately 35-50 students) Excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, develop therapy plans, and deliver direct interventions for students with a variety of physical needs Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to support students' access to educational opportunities Maintain accurate records and document student progress to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines Educate school personnel and families regarding best practices for fostering student mobility and safe physical activity Adjust therapy delivery and frequency based on changing needs and student progress If you are dedicated to helping students achieve their fullest potential and are seeking a meaningful role in an inclusive school environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
