School-Based Physical Therapist - Crowley, TX Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Crowley, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 2 days ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a physical therapist by providing services across a diverse and engaging school district. Start your journey this July with a part-time assignment, offering valuable experience before moving into a full-time caseload in August. You'll play a key role in enhancing student mobility, independence, and overall participation within the educational environment. What we're looking for: Prior experience working as a physical therapist in school settings Current and active Texas PT license Comfort serving students with a broad range of disabilities (K-12) Ability to work in an itinerant capacity, primarily covering the southern portion of the district Strong organizational skills and flexibility as caseloads and needs shift across the calendar year Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff What you'll be doing: Delivering direct PT services to K-12 students per IEPs and educational plans Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized goals, and documenting progress Traveling between school sites as needed to serve students in different campus environments Actively participating in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Adjusting and prioritizing your schedule during the transition from part-time summer services (July-early August) to full-time responsibilities during the school year If you're eager to make a difference throughout the academic year, thrive in dynamic settings, and want an engaging contract opportunity, we'd love to connect with you.
