School Physical Therapist | Crowley, Texas BlazerJobs - 3.4 Crowley, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist in a school-based environment! Work onsite with a dedicated K-12 population, providing essential PT interventions that help children achieve their mobility and functional goals throughout the academic year. This full-time position follows an 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule and offers the chance to make a positive impact every day.
Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license through ECPTOTE is required Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to adapt therapy plans for varying grade levels and individualized needs Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload and document progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring care plans based on each child's needs and developmental level Evaluate, develop, and implement goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Collaborate closely with other school professionals and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and documentation that meet state and federal regulations Educate staff on mobility, positioning, and adaptive equipment to best support student access to learning Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with school district and regulatory standards Enjoy the satisfaction of shaping young lives, working consistent hours, and being a valued partner in student success.
