The Licensed Physical Therapist provides and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Evaluates and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients. Documents patient care and charges. Provides leadership and direction for Physical Therapist Assistants, support staff and Physical Therapy students. Participates in professional development and continuing education to insure compliance with licensure laws and hospital policies. Participates in departmental operational planning and goals action item meetings. B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Current licensure by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
