As a travel Physical Therapist, you'll collaborate with seasoned healthcare professionals and expand your knowledge through exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership philosophies. This assignment, centered in a reputable healthcare facility, will give you the opportunity to provide patient-centered therapy while sharpening your skills in both orthopedic and occasional neurological care.
Schedule:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Friday closes early; flexible to make up the hour during
Monday-Thursday Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy care for assigned patients Independently evaluate and manage a variety of patient types, primarily orthopedic with some neurological cases Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1, delivering personalized treatment every 45 minutes Collaborate with physicians, review medical records, and communicate effectively with care teams Set, track, and revisit patient goals, adjusting therapy plans as necessary Make appropriate recommendations for equipment use, ensuring patient understanding and safety
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required Valid Texas LPT license or eligible through compact agreement Current AHA BLS certification required
