Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical best practices. Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs to promote recovery. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate patient care strategies. Manage clinical documentation standards accurately within electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient progress and recommending appropriate follow-up care or community resources. Work with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and outpatient rehabilitation clients. Requirements Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques. Experience developing treatment plans for various conditions such as orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Familiarity with outpatient clinic experience and outpatient rehabilitation center protocols. Ability to work effectively with geriatric patients and those requiring home & community care services. Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and managing EMR/EHR systems efficiently. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on treatment procedures and progress expectations.
