Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as a Physical Therapist, providing essential support to students across multiple campuses in a dynamic and inclusive school environment near Irving, TX. This full-time, itinerant opportunity runs from November through February, covering a maternity leave and offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In this on-site role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload. Your expertise will help students achieve their academic and functional goals, allowing them greater participation in the school setting. What we're looking for: Active TX Physical Therapy license (required) School-based experience is highly preferred Ability to support students from kindergarten through high school Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Willingness to complete fingerprinting through TEA (unless done recently for a Texas public school district) Submission of references from your two most recent supervisors Key responsibilities: Evaluate and provide individual or group therapy services for K-12 students Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Maintain documentation and comply with district policies and procedures Adapt therapy to various educational settings and student abilities You'll enjoy the chance to foster student development in a supportive school environment and build valuable professional relationships as you travel between campuses.
