Responsibilities include:

Assessing patients to develop individualized treatment plans Implementing therapeutic interventions to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Educating patients on managing conditions and promoting long-term wellness Utilizing EMR systems, preferably MedHost, for documentation and care coordination Adhering to facility policies and maintaining professional standards

Desired Qualifications:

Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current Texas physical therapy licensure BLS certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum of 2 years' PT experience, with at least 1 year in inpatient rehab Competency in EMR systems, MedHost preferred Ability to float within the department; no on-call duties required Professional appearance including wearing solid color scrubs

Schedule:

Day shift, 9 AM to 6 PM This assignment requires candidates who reside more than 50 miles from the facility. New graduates and LPTAs will not be considered.
