Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Provide expert physical therapy care in an outpatient hospital setting in League City, TX, where your skills support patient recovery and community re-engagement. This travel opportunity invites you to evaluate, plan, and deliver tailored therapy services aligned with physician directives and patient goals. You will lead discipline-specific therapy efforts, educate patients, families, students, and colleagues, and uphold safety and quality standards that reflect organizational values.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at patient discharge within prescribed timeframes. Delegate and oversee therapy services ensuring functional and effective programming. Document patient care accurately, including goals, assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry, complying with all regulatory guidelines. Promote patient and staff safety through proactive hazard identification and adherence to safety protocols. Support student learning by supervising and evaluating clinical experience. Engage in continuous professional growth by creating and pursuing individualized development plans. Maintain licensure and practice within the bounds of state regulations and ethical standards. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives by providing actionable feedback and following organizational methodologies.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with valid credentials and current state licensure. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective therapy treatment plans. Strong commitment to patient safety and organizational core values. Experience in outpatient hospital therapy preferred. Ability to educate and mentor students and co-workers. Proficiency in clinical documentation and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
