CHRISTUS
Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Coppell, TX seeks a Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based inpatient rehab care for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and clear documentation. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary, faith-based team to support holistic, patient-centered recovery and safe discharges. Participate in family education, quality initiatives, and ongoing clinical development in a mission-driven environment focused on dignity and compassion. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for inpatient rehabilitation patients Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait, and balance training Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and recovery expectations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists on interdisciplinary care plans Document assessments, goals, and progress accurately in the EMRContribute to discharge planning to support safe transitions of care Participate in quality improvement and clinical development activities Adhere to hospital, regulatory, and ethical standards of practice Support the hospital's faith-based, patient-centered mission and values Required Skills Physical therapy evaluation Treatment planning Therapeutic exercise Neuromuscular re-education Gait and balance training Functional mobility training Patient and family education Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Interdisciplinary team collaboration Discharge planning
