Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting K-12 students as a contract physical therapist. In this fulfilling role, you'll work onsite with a dynamic group of children and young adults, helping them access their school environment and reach their full potential. You'll collaborate with educators and families to tailor therapies that truly make a difference.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) through ECPTOTE Experience providing PT services in a school setting is highly valued Ability to effectively manage a caseload of 35-50 students with varying needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with students, teachers, and families Adaptability to serve across multiple grade levels (K-12) Commitment to professional, compassionate care and ongoing growth
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized assessments and develop treatment plans for K-12 students Implement physical therapy services according to IEP goals and school policy Document student progress, providing data to support outcomes and next steps Consult regularly with school staff, parents, and related service teams Attend and contribute to IEP meetings Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations This is a full-time school-based contract position with hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, beginning August 2026 through early June 2027.
