School-Based Physical Therapist - Mesquite, TX ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Mesquite, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract 12 hours ago Qualifications Working with pediatric populations Experience working with children Working with students Physical Therapy License Pediatric physical therapy Full Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in the Mesquite, TX area, supporting students as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting. This full-time itinerant role will have you traveling between multiple schools, working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade. You'll be filling in during a maternity leave and making a real impact—helping students achieve their goals and reach their full physical potential. What you'll need to bring: Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license Previous experience in school-based PT is highly preferred Ability to provide therapy for students in grades K-12 Willingness to work in an itinerant capacity, supporting several campuses Flexibility to adapt to varied caseloads and school environments What you'll be doing: Deliver evidence-based PT services to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and caregivers to maximize student access and participation Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress Travel across multiple schools within the district as assigned Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student success Important details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week from November to February Coverage for a maternity leave On-site only; remote/virtual work is not available Fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency is required if not completed within another district recently (please allow up to seven days for results) Submission of references from your two most recent supervisors is required Take the next step in your career and make a positive difference in the lives of Texas students.
