Job Description
Make an impact supporting students across multiple school sites as a dedicated Physical Therapist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, school-based contract role offers you the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload, providing therapy services that empower students to reach their fullest potential. The position runs from November through February, covering a planned maternity leave and ensuring essential support for students. What we're looking for: Current, active TX Physical Therapist license Prior experience delivering therapy in a school setting highly preferred Ability to thrive in an itinerant setting, supporting multiple school campuses Genuine enthusiasm for working with K-12 students of varying needs and backgrounds Strong communication and collaboration skills Completion of fingerprinting through the TEA or willingness to comply (results take up to 7 days) Submission of references from your two most recent supervisors with your application What you'll do: Deliver individualized and group physical therapy to K-12 students Assess students' needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements Travel between campuses as needed within the district Support inclusive learning environments by adapting interventions to various settings Immerse yourself in a supportive atmosphere where your skills contribute to student success every day.
