Position Overview Joint Dynamics is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our exceptional outpatient rehabilitation clinic located in North Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and skilled professional ready to provide high-quality care by designing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at optimizing patient recovery and enhancing their mobility. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in various areas of rehabilitation, including Orthopedic, Neurological, Geriatric, Pediatric, Sports, and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation. By fostering teamwork among healthcare professionals and leveraging advanced therapeutic techniques, we help our patients overcome challenges and regain their independence. Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position within our vibrant outpatient office, working alongside a knowledgeable and passionate team of therapists, assistants, and administrative staff. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on patient needs and clinic operations. The clinic is designed to be a welcoming and healing space, equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and modalities to enhance treatment efficacy. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, needs, and therapy goals. Develop and implement customized treatment plans that utilize a mixture of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and techniques, guiding patients toward achieving measurable outcomes. Educate patients and their family members about their conditions, treatment protocols, and home exercise programs for ongoing improvement. Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to support patient progress. Thoroughly document patient assessments, treatment outcomes, and progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care. Provide emotional support and motivation, helping to cultivate a positive environment that encourages patient engagement and resilience. Maintain a high level of professionalism by adhering to ethical standards and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients at Joint Dynamics span a diverse range of demographics, including adolescents, adults, and seniors. With a focus on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, you will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our holistic approach considers each patient's unique circumstances and goals, enabling tailored, effective therapies that prioritize restoring daily function and enhancing quality of life. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Current and valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to physical therapy practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relate to patients and collaborate with colleagues. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy clinic environment. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in an outpatient setting, is preferred. Experience with diverse patient populations, specifically in sports rehabilitation or post-operative care, would be advantageous.
