Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Discover the impact you can make as a passionate Physical Therapist working within a supportive school community. This full-time, contract role offers you the chance to work onsite with students in grades K-12, responding to a diverse range of physical therapy needs. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges, supporting their academic and social success throughout the school year. In this position, you'll manage a caseload of 35-50 students, tailoring interventions based on each individual's plan and collaborating with educational staff and families. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with hours scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each school day.
Key Qualifications:
Current Texas Physical Therapist license issued by ECPTOTE School-based PT experience preferred; open to therapists eager to expand into educational settings Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation practices Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortably working as part of an interdisciplinary team Flexibility and a commitment to equitable, student-centered care
