Location:
Pampa Regional Medical Center - Pampa, TX We are seeking a Physical Therapist, sometimes referred to as a Movement Specialist. The Physical Therapist (PT) will help patients regain mobility and function after illness, injury, or surgery through assessments, exercises, and early mobilization. They also assist with pain management, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions after hospitalization. Responsibilities New graduates looking for the right hospital to grow their career as a Physical Therapist are encouraged to apply. No experience is required; candidates must be licensed or eligible to obtain licensure within 90 days.
Assessing Patients:
Evaluate a patient's mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations
Creating Treatment Plans:
Develop individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function based on the patient's condition and goals
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation:
Assist patients in regaining function after surgery (e.g., joint replacements, cardiac procedures)
Pain Management:
Use techniques such as manual therapy, positioning, and guided movement to reduce pain and improve comfort
Patient & Family Education:
Teach patients and caregivers how to perform exercises, use assistive devices (like walkers), and follow safety practices at home Qualifications Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy Current state Physical Therapy license Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current Here are some of the benefits of working at
