Pay starts at $46 an hour and in increases based on experience. Physical Therapist Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs and physician orders. Administer physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, restore function, and promote overall wellness. Establish measurable goals and modify treatment plans based on patient progress. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide education and training to residents, family members, and caregivers. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation support staff as appropriate. Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care and regulatory requirements. Complete documentation accurately and timely in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. SNF/Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
