Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert physical therapy support in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, restore function, and improve the overall quality of life for diverse patient populations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and current Physical Therapist (PT) license Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred Proficiency with therapy documentation systems and electronic medical records Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and rehabilitation best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to educate patients and families about treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patients to determine functional status, therapy needs, and treatment goals Develop and implement individualized care plans to foster rehabilitation and promote wellness Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Document patient progress and update plans of care as needed, maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies Guide and support patients and their caregivers throughout the recovery process Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to all hospital standards and regulatory requirements This position presents an excellent opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a hospital setting focused on powerful and positive patient outcomes.
