Position Overview Flex Sports and Rehab is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expanding outpatient clinic in Waco, Texas. This full-time position involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, performing hands-on therapy, and working collaboratively to promote optimal patient recovery and rehabilitation. Our team is committed to the highest standards of care, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and personalized attention throughout their rehabilitation journey. Work Environment You will work onsite in a state-of-the-art outpatient office that fosters a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere. The clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and facilities necessary to deliver top-notch orthopedic care. Our setting is designed for one-on-one patient interactions, emphasizing quality care without the distraction of techs or aides. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs. Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, utilizing various techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal care and outcomes. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment protocols, and home exercise programs to maximize recovery. Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and the administrative team. Engage in continuous professional development through in-house training, workshops, and participation in mentorship programs led by fellowship-trained therapists. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Flex Sports and Rehab, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, adults recovering from surgical procedures, and individuals with chronic conditions affecting the spine and extremities. Your role will encompass the full spectrum of orthopedic care, from initial injury evaluation to rehabilitation following surgery, focusing on each patient's unique pathology. Qualifications Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is required. Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (MPT or DPT). A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health goals. Preferred Experience A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred. Experience in managing a varied patient caseload with conditions related to musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative recovery will be especially beneficial. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges between $90,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
