Role Overview As a PRN Physical Therapist at BrightStar Care , you will provide one-on-one physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes throughout the Tyler area . You'll work closely with patients, families, and our clinical team to develop individualized treatment plans that promote mobility, independence, safety, and overall quality of life. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity offering flexibility to accept visits based on your availability and patient needs. It's an excellent fit for a therapist looking for supplemental income, additional flexibility, or the ability to build their schedule around other professional commitments. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical abilities, mobility, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals. Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with established care plans. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and strategies for maintaining independence. Document visits accurately and in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary care team. Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and professional standards. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while working independently in the home environment. Accept visits based on your availability and patient needs.
