Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment, hours as scheduled by facility
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop/modify individualized treatment plans for each patient in accordance with physician direction and patient goals Delegate, monitor, and direct therapy services specific to discipline for assigned caseloads Design functional, patient-oriented therapy programs aimed at optimal community reintegration Document evaluations, goals, treatments, and patient progress clearly and promptly—adhere to regulatory, organizational, and ethical standards Educate patients, families, students, and colleagues on therapeutic techniques and recovery Champion a culture of safety in all patient and workplace activities, upholding best practices in safe handling, infection control, and clinic policies Foster a learning environment for students; provide supervision and feedback Pursue ongoing professional development through self-study, education courses, and participation in professional activities Remain informed on performance improvement initiatives, giving constructive feedback when needed
Desired Qualifications:
Clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient therapy setting preferred Current therapy licensure in good standing (PT) and compliance with all state/federal requirements Understanding and application of relevant State Practice Acts Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and continuous professional growth
