Job Description

This travel assignment provides the chance to work with a predominantly orthopedic and select neuro patient case load, managing care in a focused 1:1 setting for optimal patient outcomes (one patient every 45 minutes). Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (Early close Fridays; flexible hour compensation Monday-Thursday)
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy interventions for assigned patients in compliance with Physical Therapy Practice Act standards. Gather essential data from charts and team members and consult with physicians as needed. Independently evaluate patient needs across multiple conditions; apply sound judgment for additional testing and goal setting. Regularly reassess patient progress in alignment with departmental and regulatory requirements. Identify, recommend, and educate patient and families on appropriate equipment.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required. Active LPT license in Texas or possess compact state eligibility. American Heart Association BLS certification required. Prior experience with ortho and neuro populations highly valued.
