School Physical Therapist

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist with experience in school and healthcare settings to provide services in Sandy, UT. This role involves conducting a singular assessment for Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) on two students. Based on the assessment outcomes, there may be opportunities to continue contracting for ongoing weekly services with one or two students.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive OT and PT assessments for two students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs. Provide direct PT services to students as determined by assessment results. Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid PT license with experience in school-based and healthcare physical therapy. Ability to conduct assessments and develop appropriate therapeutic interventions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to adapt services based on assessment findings. Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
