Job Description

$10,000 RECRUITMENT BONUS! This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patient requiring Physical Therapy services. The Physical Therapist provides services within Va Licensure, Joint Commission and CMS guidelines for patient care and billing for services.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited PT program. Current VA PT licensure or license eligible.
BLS CPR Certification Preferred Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy Travel Required Travel is expected to be between 5-15% of the time.
Salary Range:
$74,393 - $111,590 Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Essential Functions Title and Definition Evaluates and develops plan of care according to American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines. Administers physical therapy treatments appropriate to diagnosis and APTA guidelines. Completes discharge planning according to APTA guidelines by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences. Documents and charges for patient care services by charting in patient and department records according to federal, state, and local regulations. Protects patients, employees, and visitors by promoting infection-control and safety policies and protocols. Meets productivity standards. Ensures operation of equipment, follows manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoots malfunctions and reports the need for repair to supervisor. Oversees clinical care provided by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Aides, other support staff, and students. Other duties as assigned .
